With their backs to the wall, Brooklyn was able to take a seventh-inning lead with an RBI single from Segui and a sacrifice fly from Iburg.  But in the bottom of the inning, Fred Schmidt homered to tie it up.  Later in the inning, George Cocreham hit a two-run blast to put New York ahead for good.
