Win: Charlie McNamara Loss: Josh Daskin Save: Chuck Swindoll

Though both teams were able to put men on base, Boerner and Midkiff battled to a 1-all tie through the first six and a half innings.  When Midkiff left in the seventh, the Brooklyn bullpen proved just as tough, shutting down St. Louis in six innings of relief.  Finally, in the twelfth, with two out and a man on first, Brooklyn took the lead when Melvin James chucked the third out into the stands, allowing Segui to score.
