Hotshot was a standout from the day he was born, and was named in the whelping box. Everyone who saw him agreed that was the most fitting name for him. He was a "stud fee" puppy and was shown to his title by Karalot Samoyeds, Joanne Hilbelink. When he was three years old he moved to Frosty Acres Kennels, owned by Karen and Bob McFarlane. They campaigned him as a special and he quickly ranked in the Top 10. He also sired several important litters and was an SCA Top Producer in the 70's. He was admired for his great beauty, exceptional coat and nice clean movement. He consistently passed these traits on to his get and appears in the pedigrees of many of today's top Samoyed Kennels.
