She is Yugi's classmate and childhood friend. Téa is a self-confident character who has a dream to go to America and become a dancer in the future. By upright and honest personality, she usually openly expresses her feeling and cares the others.

In fact, Téa looks smarter in Duel Monster game than Joey. However, in the comic version. she doesn't express any duel strages. In anime, she can duel in any necessary situation. Her relationship with Yugi isn't much obvious. Téa much cares and likes the other personality of Yugi or Yami. She usually is afraid that one day he is going back to his place.
