Sorry I haven't given any updates until now.  Jeremy's orders have been changed twice; So I was waiting until he had his ticket in hand to come home before updating anyone.  Jeremy has to report in to Ft. Drum, NY by May 25.  He flies into DFW on May 3rd.  So the kids and I are here visiting my parents, and will be visiting family along with Jeremy through May 8.  Then we will drive back to Kansas City, MO to pack up and prepare to move to NY.  We plan to begin our move on May 19, stop In Pittsburg, PA to visit some of Jeremy's family, and arrive in NY a few days later.
Ft. Drum is located about 20 - 30 minutes away from the Canadian border.  So this TX girl doesn't really like the idea of living among the land of the frozen. However, its part of a mountain range with lots of ski resorts ( I love skiing).  Of course I am very excited to get Jeremy back ( we have only seen each other for a total of 6 weeks in the last 15 months).  The kids already have big plans for daddy.  Landon said he can't wait to make a snowman with daddy and go to the root beer shop.  Kryslin said she wants daddy to come home and tickle her.
Jeremy should be promoted to Staff Sgt in the next few months. Being a lower ranking NCO (E-5) has been tough because he is given much responsibility and very little power.  He has had to do his job plus the jobs of those two ranks above him.  Getting this promotion would give him a little more control over this.

Jeremy has not been assigned to a unit at FT Drum but was given a good recommendation from a 3 star General he got to know in Korea.  Whatever unit he is assigned I'm just praying that  God would keep him home atleast for a year.  They could send him in as few as 6 months to another hardship tour.  This wouldn't bother me so bad if we were closer to family but being all the way in NY is kinda scary.  Since I have never lived on a base before, the Army community is all new to me.
So, please pray for the following:
- Easy transition to having Jeremy back in the home again
- Safe and Smooth move to Ft. Drum
- Adjustment to military life, life on a base, and living in such a cold environment
- Decision on where to send Landon to school (Landon starts Kindergarten but, their city schools are not very good and there is no school on base.)
- Decision on rather Jeremy should reenlist next year or find a civilian job that will meet our needs.
Before we leave Missouri, Landon will be graduating from Preschool.  Below you will find his photo, along with one of Kryslin and her cousin, Helena Lucht, taken on a school field trip.

Thank you for all your prayers and support this past year.  It really helped us to know that so many people cared for us and prayed for us.

Sincerely,
Kristiana Keeler
