April 19, 2008: An undermanned and outplayed Franchise Hockey dropped its season opener in a 9-1 loss to Bellarmine.  Playing without Nick Sako, Ray Cleverly and Cam Rowland, the Franchise was trounced, as the team had no subs.

Drew Winn made his debut, playing for the first time in two years.  Mikey Stanzler was sharp in a losing effort, and Matt King scored the team's only goal.

The Franchise will try to earn its first win next week in a still-to-be-determined game.
