Franchise Hockey 11 St. Lawrence 1
With Sheraj Ragoobeer opening the game with his first goal of the season, Franchise Hockey rocked St. Lawrence 11-1. Matt King then added his first of nine points on the day with a goal. Cam Rowland and Nick Sako each punched in goals to give Franchise Hockey a 4-0 lead after the first period.
With Mikey Stanzler receiving little action in goal, Sako scored twice in the second period, and Rowland followed a King breakaway with his fourth goal of the season. King was shaken up in the second period and sat most of the third.
Ragoobeer's bomb from center ice beat the St. Lawrence goaltender to make the score 8-0. Several dazzling moves by Sako brought his goal total to thirteen. Sako topped off his masterpiece with a dish to Rowland. St. Lawrence scored with less than four minutes remaining, snapping Stanzler's shutout.
Franchise Hockey will have a doubleheader next week with games on next Friday and Saturday. Rowland will be out of the lineup.
