Mt. Saddleback is about 8km west of Kiama (which is about 120km south of Sydney, Australia). It rises to about 600m and is covered with sections of remnant rainforest near its summit, orchids still grow wild here.

Mt. Saddleback
A large cliff face near the summit faces east. It is covered in large clumps of one of our local orchids called Dendrobium speciosum. The photo of Robbie on the previous page is of the same species and gives a impression of scale.
