Entry for March 31, 2007
Last Saturday was incredibly busy with a record crowd of 30+ people. They came in so fast we hardly had time to turn on the lights. John S. Galen N. and I were there to entertain the stream of people who, for the most part, were involved in a motorcycle club that was making it's way through McPherson.
I found out later that Judy Casey had worked with a group called the Gold Wing Assn here for a conference. She had them booked for 3 farm tours but it rained so much that they had to cancel them. Judy told them to go check out our model railroad on Saturday afternoon.
We managed to set up the crossing signal from the Hutchinson club and John S. worked on the artifact room, but for the most part we were kept busy entertaining the large groups that came in throughout the day.
