Another helper - The spirit of truth

" And I will pray the Father, and He will give you  another helper , that he may abide with you for ever. " - John 14:16

Jesus in this verse, is mentioning the  arrival of another helper in near future. The question is who is the another helper prophesied by him?

Naturally and of course it is the 'Holy Spirit' which we got it on the Pentecost day, which made the people to speak in different language ( Act 2:2). And there is no doubt about it. So no need for the question mark!

But there is a huge question mark on this belief!

Yes, John 16:7 says,  " But I tell you the truth, it is your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the helper shall not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you".

The thing we have to look into it is the precondition Jesus is saying. i.e. Jesus should go, for helper to come. If not, he'll not come! This clearly indicates the coming of the helper was subject to the departure of Jesus. But the 'Holy Spirit ' was in existence prior to departure of Jesus.

(i) It was present  even from the day of the creation (Genesis 1:2)

(ii) It was present 'like a dove' at River Jordan when Christ was being Baptized.  .(Matthew 3:16)

Another thing to think is about the word 'helper '. In some translation of Bible, this word is mentioned as 'comforter '. The Greek version denotes it as 'Paraclete ' for Arabic, the word is  'Ahmad ' another name for Muhammad (Sal).

Al  Qur-aan says, "And (remember) when E'saa (Alai), -  Jesus - son of Mariam (Alai), - Mary - said: "O! Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you confirming the Tawraath - Torah - (which came) before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be  'Ahmad ' ....." - As Saff : 6

What a striking similarity between the verse of the  Bible John 14:16 and the verse of the Qur-aan As Saff : 6 - the word is  'Ahmad '

For the authenticity of Al  Qur-aan, even a hostile critic like Sir William Muir said, " There is probably in the world no other book which has remained twelve centuries ( now fifteenth century) with so pure a text." So The word of Qur-aan is enough to confirm what E'saa (Alai), -  Jesus prophesied.

Any how still more things are there to analyze in our mind. Read this:

"My little children, I am writing these things to you that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have a Paraclete with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous" - 1 John.2:1

Tamil version coins the word meaning 'intercessor - advocate' to the word 'Paraclete' denoting Jesus. And he promises 'another Paraclete', another helper - Muhammad (Sal). John 14:17 also records this 'another Paraclete' is the  'Spirit of Truth'  (not Holy Spirit). History quotes that even the tyrant enemies of Prophet Muhammad (Sal) addressed him as 'As- Shaadiq' manes 'trustworthy'.

John 15:26 says, " when the Paraclete comes, whom I will send to you the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth, who proceeds from the Father,  he  will bear witness of me". This verse further clears that 'the Spirit of Truth' is - he - and is not - it - which if it is there one can argue it as the Holy Spirit. 'He' belongs to male gender but 'it' belongs to a neutral gender. More over 1 John 4:6 uses the word 'the spirit of truth' and ' the spirit of false' for human beings only.

We can examine still further! What is the role of the another helper -  'Spirit of Truth'   - ?

(i) John 16:13 helps us - " But when he, ,   'Spirit of Truth'  comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever he hears, he will speak....". Yes! Muhammad (Sal) -  'Spirit of Truth'   - spoke the word of God - The Qur-aan - reevealed to him thro' the Angel Jibraiel ( Alai) - Gabriel.

(ii) John 16:14 continues, " He shall glorify me " Correct! The Qur-aan glorifies the miraculous birth of E'saa (Alai), -  Jesus with out any male intervention.; confirms him as a Messiah, a Messenger of God, the Spirit from God and the Righteous Prophet.

(iii) Again it is John 16:14who says, " He shall take mine and shall disclose it to you." Prophet Muhammad (Sal) did declare himself a Messenger of God like Ibrahim ( Abraham), Mousa ( Moses) and E'saa (Alai), -  Jesus.

(iv) John 14:26 further says, " He'll teach you all things". Exactly The Qur-aan teaches a complete code of conduct regarding social, political and spiritual life.

What  about the word ' Paraclete ' ?

In Greek version of the Bible, the word ' Paracletos ' is mentioned. It means comforter, counselor, advocate etc. The word         ' Muhammad ' - meaning praiseworthy if translated in Grreek, you have to coin the word ' Periklutos

Her is the copy of 200 C.E - (= Christian Era as Muslim can't accept the crucifixion of  E'saa (Alai) - Jesus). Bible showing the word ' Paracletos ". Christians claim that, it is the word  Paracletos - meaning comforter, counselor, advocate eetc, and not the word Periklutos   - meaning Ahmad, another name for Muhammadd (Sal), is present. This is  from the web pages of the Christians.

See how the cat is out of the basket !

Now think, think and think! Who is

Is it not Ahmad - Muhammad (Sal)?!
