Life in Kuwait
Let
me start from the day one, which I start from India. Well, my first voyage i.e.
from Kochi International Airport to Kuwait International Airport. So, Let me
start.
Kochi
International Airport :
Well,
my friends Mr. Rijo and Mr. Nirmal took me to give a bon Voyage to Airport. My
took off time was 8 PM. But we started from home early 9.00 am, since we had to
purchase some more things from Ernakulam. In fact, I couldn’t say a bye to my
colleagues during my last working day (One day before my trip). Initially, I
went to office and said good-bye to everybody. In fact, I was there in my office
around 3 hours in that day too. Then had a nice lunch with my friends Nirmal and
Rijo. Then gone for purchase and by 3.30 pm we started from Ernakulam to
airport, since the check in time was 4.00 pm.
We reached airport by 4.30 pm. I given my luggage for customs clearance.
Now 2 more hours remaining to my took off. So I wished to be with my friends, so
came outside. We gone and had a small coffee and snacks.
By
06.30 pm we came back, they given me a nice TA TA and I began my customs
clearance. By 07.15 pm I reached in Lounge.
By 07.45 pm I shifted to flight and by 08.00 pm flight took off. So its
04.00 hrs journey from Kochi –Kuwait. Supposed to reached in Kuwait by 12.00
pm(Kuwait time 10.00 pm). I was in a sleepy mood, because I was slept by 02.00
am last night. I woke up immediately when airhostess called me to insert seat
belt and given me a cool drink. Ohh, then only I noted that flight is running
and going to took off. Time was 08.15 pm. So, I enjoyed took off and again went
to sleep. That stupid airhostess again called up to remove seat belt I got
confused, but it was for dinner. I had my dinner and again gone to sleep. Again
that stupid airhostess called me and gave me a big smile and told me to insert
my seat belt. Got an announcement that flight is going to land. Flight landed
and I came outside. In fact I couldn’t enjoy my first voyage. I got
transferred to the airport and looked for my luggage, I got it and then customs
clearance, Yes I seen my brother in law in arrival area with Emikutty(I seen her
first time).
Its
time 10.30 pm in Kuwait(as per instruction of Pilot I had changed my watch
timing from Indian time Kuwait time, i.e. 02.30 hrs less than Indian time). We
took my baggages and drive to Flat. Yaa, I seen Kuwait city. Its took 10 minutes
to reach from airport to flat. My sister was in Night duty. Soon after reaching
in apartment I slept due to tiredness. I woke up next day early morning with my
sister’s call. I had seen her in nursing uniform. She just arrived after night
duty. Ohh its morning 06.00 am. I got a bed tea. All went for duty by 07.00 am.
Because in Kuwait duty time in offices starting in 07.00 am and end by 05.00 pm.
That day chechy was with me and I took rest and in the evening we together gone
to Kuwait city to purchase for their Vacation starting next month. I seen Kuwait
city, first I felt it’s a city of Pajero and Land cruiser. Kuwait city –area
wise like Ernakulam District and Culture wise like New York City.
