I AM SURE


This was written by a friend of mine Theresa Krug. I couldn't have said it better!


Alot of debates about the war to start is happening.
All I can be sure of is....
I am sure my grandmothers did not want my dad or uncles to go to war....
but they proudly supported them.

I am sure people asked why are we going.....
They aren't hurting us......
I am sure of my Dad's horrible stories of the concentration camps.....
I am sure he was right to go there.

I am sure that the Vietnam vets felt the hurt as their own country argued about whether they should be there......
Look at many of the homeless vets...
I am sure as today as I was on September 11th that I never want an unsuspected terrorist attack to happen again...
I am sure that when President Bush vowed to stop all terrorists attackers on September 12 that I watched and was behind him 100%..
I am sure that today, we are not safe and I still stand beside him 100%.
I am sure that if you ask a family member of the victims or September 11th that we had acted on September 10th and not on September 12th.
I am sure I am an American that believes in the right to vote in a President and support what our nation believes is right.
I am sure that if you don't believe in our system that other places would allow you to move there.

I am sure that tonight I will pray for our troops.
I will pray for the innocent victims of war,
because unfortunately innocent people are killed in a war.
(I think one could asked the Jewish people if they had innocents lives lost in war...
I still think they would say America did the right thing by intervening).


I know I will kiss my children extra special.
I bet my Grandmother kissed my dad that way just before he left for Germany.
