Ristevski takes over Pelister
Tuesday, 04 March 2003
FK Pelister have sacked coach Perica Grujevski after his
side lost their first game after the winter break in F.Y.R. Macedonia.
Replacement named
Grujevski was given his marching orders following the 1-0 home defeat against FK
Sileks. He will be replaced by Spase Ristevski, who until now has been the
assistant coach of the Macedonian Under-21 team.
Fourth coach
Ristevski will become Pelister's fourth coach this season. During a previous
spell in charge, he helped the club win the national cup two years ago. He
takes over a side occupying ninth place and battling to avoid
relegation from the 12-team top flight.

President unhappy
"We had many disagreements with Grujevski," said Pelister president
Gorna Nevenovski. "One of the most important things is that he refused to
sign new players during the winter break."
