On our yearly Mule Deer Hunt to western Nebraska, this 2 x 2 showed himself on the 3rd day of our trip.  I was able to get a good sight on him from about 90 yards and dropped him with one shot.
This late season Kansas waterfowl included some fast flying and hot shootin'.  The six of us were able to get our limit in a mix of bufflehead and mallards.  Although bufflehead wasn't the bird of choice, they made for some great shooting and seemed to never stop coming into the decoys.
On opening day of the 2005 early duck season, we headed north to some public huning spots.  There were plenty of hunters in the area to keep these fast-flying teal in the air.  By about 9:30 we had our limit, but the memory of the day was to have two pelican land in our decoys and try to attack our Robo-duck.  They showed no fear of the decoys, or even us and continued to swim around while we took our last teal.
