The rumor that the Vikings and Steelers have been working out a trade has been confirmed! Mr. Israel will be playing for the Champion Steelers, while the Vikings got some much needed line talent.
In unrelated news, the Vikings aquired the first round 1 pick from the Bucs, but quickly traded it away to the Chiefs, for a Quarterback and two undisclosed picks.
John Randle will be relocating, as he was a casualty
of the Vikings salary cap. The bad news is that we'll
miss John and his talent on Defense. The good news
is that the Vikings aquired some much needed offensive
talent in return for the all star Defensive Tackle.
It is rumored that the Vikings are attempting negotiations for K. Warner, one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Its assumed that they must be willing to pay a pretty penny to get the vetaran QB, but it's widely known that Grbac just wasn't getting the job done last year. Good luck to them in that trade.
