My Baby

Rust spots are there, some are hidden, but there are more than youd think.

It is very warm especially when the heat is working.

In and out, in and out of traffic she glides.

This car will always shame me when it dies on that date.

What should I do to make it better? Paint it? The interior? Fix that knocking sound?

When it just sits in the garage, the gas going bad, brakes locking up, and parts rusting away, I think Ill sell her.

I drive her fast, and slow, I drive her crazy, over hills and around turns.

I want to treat her to a turbo charged snack, and a free flowing exhaust, but she is too ugly for all that work.

So I think what Ill do is strip her down, till her metallic flesh is naked and exposed, then paint her black from her head to her toes.

She will glimmer and glisten, scream and roar.

Squeal those tires baby, cause youre getting painted!
