Toymax produced this line during the 1990's. Taking advantage of sound technology, they issued all their figures with talking backpacks, which tried to cash in on G.I.Joe's Sonic Fighters, but the backpacks were uncannily similar to Toy Biz's Talking Marvel Characters.

The figures were not as articulated as G.I.Joe, as they didn't have a moveable waist, and therefore legs which could only bend backwards or forwards. However they did have bending knees, ball-jointed necks, and fully jointed arms.

The actual characters seem to be inspired by  Joes,  "Serpent Sauvage" (Quick Kick),  "L'explosif" (Lampreys/Viper), "Le Macho" (Rock'n'Roll). The figures originally cost about the same as a Joe, but could be found later on in bargain bins for £1.

The accessories were again either direct copies of G.I.Joe weapons, or crude molds of guns.

The entire line consisted of 12 figures, 2 vehicles and 1 base.
Similar figures can be found made by other companies, e.g. Adventure Man
