Ice Runner

This one-man skimobile, was an example of pure genius in terms of toy design!

It featured an elevating front canopy which also incorporated a front firing missile launcher, and had 2 wing mirrors and spotlights. The figure sat in a detailed cockpit with movable control stick. To the rear of the vehicle was a storage area accessible by a hinged hatch, which also housed the two antennae, and rear spoiler. There was also a rear platform for other figures to stand on. To the sides of this vehicle were hooks for the axe and shovel-both removable! On the underside was a ingeniously hidden stretcher, which was protected on both sides by real rubber tracked wheels, and front swiveling skis.

In terms of Joe compatibility, the cockpit area was actually too small to allow a Joe to sit in and have the canopy close properly. A little customising soon fixed this though.

The vehicle came boxed with a Snow-version of Johnny Quest, equipped with helmet and snowboard.
