Red Laser

A Red Shadow that piloted the Laser Exterminator vehicle (H.A.L.), which was usually towed along by the Shadowtrak.

This was the Enemy's first fully jointed figure, based on a repainted Cobra Commander v.1 (helmet). Note the lower legs are painted in 1 colour up to the knees to give the impression of boots, completely obscuring the original detail of trousers and shoes. 

Palitoy tended to use fully jointed repainted G.I.Joes as vehicle drivers, which seemed slightly odd when compared to the "Star Wars" maneuverability of the rest of the figures.
