Red Jackal : Hyena Driver

Jackal was originally a Z Force driver, like  "Tracker" ,who was captured whilst trying to chase some Red Shadows. He became a Hyena Driver with Ironblood's army, and controlled one of The Enemy's deadliest ground vehicles, which would have several showdowns with Hunter and his SAS Wolverine. 

Later when Baron Ironblood became Cobra Commander, and left his old troops to rot, Red Jackal hunted him down, for revenge, but was tricked by Cobra Commander, and knocked out. As Jackal passed out he tried to say "I will destroy you", but only got as far as the first few words. When he awoke Cobra Commander praised his endurance, and hired him for the new team. As a tribute to Jackal's last words, he was called Destro!

This repaint of G.I.Joe's "Destro", came without weapons, boxed with a repaint of the HISS tank. The Enemy logo is painted over Destro's trademark medallion and bare chest.

Palitoy tended to use fully jointed repainted G.I.Joes as vehicle drivers, which seemed slightly odd when compared to the "Star Wars" maneuverability of the rest of the figures.
