And the hill of Golgatha had no Hotel Hilton Which He rode to in His cadillac. No crowd of admiring fans waited for Jesus To arrive to put on His big show, But there's been only this one and there'll only be One other to equal it, we know! I. In this time of revival before our Lord's Coming, He's calling us to be prepared To take up our crosses and follow His footsteps In a way that we never have dared. II. Our Lord never told us that it would be easy, His example before us is clear. To follow Him means that we're ready to forfeit Everything that we've ever held dear. For - CHORUS III. When we see Jesus coming in all of His glory And we're caught up with Him in the air, We'll see that the things of the earth that we gave up For His Cross, in no way, can compare.
