MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY.....
I have been on my spiritual journey for about 6 years now.
It sarted with the deterioration of my marriage where I began to search for who I truely was. Long before good 'ol Dr. Phil and his promoting being your authentic self.
I decided that life was too short to be miserable and began looking within myself. I really did not like what I saw.
I saw depression, darkness, lonliness and alot of empty space.
I had lost who I truely was. Sure, I was a mother to 4 great kids, but I was a verbally and emotionally abused wife, a homemaker and an employee of a job I loved but had a hard time performing in the depression I was experiencing.
Without going into details, my marriage finally deteriorated and my ex is no longer a part of our lives. (although the effects of the turbulance still are there at times.) In time they too will deminish but I do not totally forget; what we went through shaped us eternally. Again...not going into very many details.
After much healing and the tremendous help of a counsellor (who is a Chakra Healer), I was able to love myself again and went back to school for a Specialized Business Degree in Travel and Tourism.
I was able to date (had a blast I must say) and now have been with a great man since January of 2004. (If you go to the pics page you will see his christmas eve proposal! Yipeee) PICS

The spiritual side of things began to surface when my mother passed away in November, 2003. We were estranged but I loved her nonetheless and knew of her spiritual quest but it never made much sense to me until I started going into psychic and medium chat rooms on Pal Talk (click HERE for details) where I encountered several great people who are now friends.
I had a reading that answered many questions about my mother that helped put her spiritual journey along side mine.
I now am studying the Chakras (see the chakra picture and link above), Meditations and believe in the presence of those who have passed on before us.
I believe in a divine creator, so vast and so different than our human minds can imagin that it is impossible to define and put into earthly confines. How can we 'box' the creator of the universe and presume to know it's infinate wisdom.
I do not believe in a man created organized religion. I believe that each person's spiritual journey is just that, their personal journey. Each person must communicate with and believe in the creator in their own way, not what man has decided is the intrepretation for all mankind. How arrogant is that? How dare we presume to speak on behalf of a being that is so much higher than we can even imagine!?
