"Unveiling Morwenna" is a book about a 5th/6th century woman who pursued the vocation of Christian missionary in Cornwall. The biography took several years to compile and some of its conclusions are speculative but nevertheless based on good circumstantial evidence. I hope the contents of the book will arouse debate and discussion and be of interest to those who research

  1. Cornish History
  2. Celtic Saints
  3. Early Christian Alliances
  4. The Place of Women in the "Dark Ages"
  5. The Place of Women in the Early Church
  6. The Organisation and Sophistication of post-Roman Britain
  7. Reality verses Legend in British Folk Lore.
  8. The Figure of King Arthur.

If you find the book thought-provoking, and are able to respond, I would be glad of your positive comments, constructive criticism and/or suggestions for amendments. I have already redrafted the biography three times to take into account new information from subject specialists, including some editing of Celtic references by ANDREW THOMAS, and some editing of military references by JOHN DICKENSON. I would appreciate further contributions.
