Tonight Grant and I have our third of eight Spanish lessons. I think I'd like to continue lessons once we get back from Mexico, perhaps in the new year.
I've decided that I would like to join the Wellington Film Society, which will mean that I can see a load of interesting movies throughout the year, and get a discount when the Film Festival comes around. The only thing is that they only show films at the Paramount, so my butt is going to be given a bit of a thrashing with the awful seats that they still have - I sincerely believe that they are the worst ones in the Wellington cinemas.
I am also thinking about doing another course at one of the Community College courses, maybe something arty. Then again, I may just stick with spanish.
I also want to see Faust (the Opera), which is coming up in September.
The house where the land has slipped form underneath it in Kelson (in the news 9 August 2006) belongs to family friends. I feel so bad for them, but at least they got out alive and didn't go down with the bank.
I am feeling a bit blue at the mo too. I have a cold, and have been sneezing all day, and I haven't been sleeping well for the past few days, so I am feeling a bit weary.
I seem to have used 'also' a lot today. I think I have a few things to think about.
