Whoopdeedee. This is the first time I have done anything at all to update my webpage. Now that that's done, I think I'll leave it another, hmmm... 2 years or so before I do anything else to it.
I thought I would be all film festivaled out, but I'm finding myself filled with the prospect of very little joy without a perky, or not so perky film to go and see every evening. For the record, I went and saw twenty movies in total, and there were only two that I didn't think much of - Loulou and Keane. The rest, which I shall list, I would, from what I can remember, go and see again. These were, in order of appearance:
Cave of the Yellow Dog
The Valet
Waves
Last Train to Freo
C.R.A.Z.Y.*
Our Daily Bread
49 Up
Gentille*
Fateless
13 (Tzameti)
12:08 East of Bucharest
Brick*
Lonesome Jim*
How Much Do You Love Me?
To Our Loves
Memory for Max, Claire, Ida and Company
The White Masai
The Science of Sleep*
My favourites were the ones with asterisks.
Grant and I had our first lot of vaccinations for our trip to Mexico, so I am sporting an unimpressive pair of sticky plasters on my arm to prove how brave I was. I used to love getting injections as a child. It's probably something I ought to keep to myself, but I liked to pretend I was giving myself injections, using a mechanical pencil. Ahh, those were the days...
