Chapter 6 �Sano�!� Megumi cried out in ecstasy as she felt Sanosuke�s thumbs trace circles around her nipples� The two of them had finally come to the floor after removing their clothing. Since there was no futon in the room, Sanosuke just set his and Megumi�s clothes on the floor to serve as their bedding. Now nude, Megumi was sitting, straddling rather on Sanosuke�s lap, with one leg on each side of his hips. She was allowing him to pleasure her as much as he wished. He too was completely naked. He sat beneath her with his legs stretched forward. The two hadn�t joined yet, because they wished to pleasure one another first. Megumi sighed breathtakingly as she leaned forward to wrap her arms around his neck. Amidst the heat and rushes of pleasure he was inflicting on her with the caress of his hands on her breasts, she wanted desperately to be close to him. She tangled her hands into his hair and held his head in her arms as his lips began to fondle her chest. Now that she was this close to him, he could kiss her moist skin with his lips. Then he lowered his head slowly down to where his right finger had been caressing� * * * �Oh Kenshin!� gasped Kaoru, who lifted her hand to her open mouth in absolute horror. Kenshin gazed at Kaoru with a slight look of worry in his eyes. He had just finished telling her what had happened in the events of the past concerning Tomoe. He told Kaoru that he once killed Tomoe�s fianc� and after that she became involved in a conspiracy to take his own life. However, her love for him surpassed any hate she might have possessed. Shortly after he discovered her involvement in the conspiracy, he journeyed to kill the head conspirator on the side of the shogun. However, Tomoe got caught in the crossfire when Kenshin struck. It was a terrible accident but Tomoe passed away shortly after she completed the cross shape on his cheek with her knife. The first slash was created by Tomoe�s fianc� just before Kenshin killed him. The cross shape was a permanent reminder of his past and that he once lived with his heart and his hands at cross purposes, as an assassin. So to atone for the lives he took and most importantly to honor the woman who saw the best in him, Kenshin became a wanderer who protects the weak. He also became the man that Kaoru loved dearly. Kenshin turned to face her, detecting perfectly that his past upset her. His eyes gazed at her in anguish, for it pained him to see her so horrified. What was worse was the fact that she so far had said nothing. �Miss Kaoru!� he said desperately, as he lightly grasped her shoulders and turned her to face him, �please say something!� Feeling him so close to her now, she eased up a little, lowering her hand from her mouth. However her eyes remained wide as she looked up into his anguished ones. Her heart still pounded uneasily from learning his terrible truth but at the same time a gush of astonishment filled its place when she found tears moistening his eyes! She could see that it was not only the pain of his past that was causing these slight tears but Kenshin could not bear to see Kaoru in pain. Now Kaoru understood why Kenshin had been so overprotective of her during the battles earlier on! He wanted to make sure that he didn�t lose her too! The sparkle in his eyes along with the anguish of his past told her that he cared�very deeply in fact. �Kenshin!� Kaoru cried out loud at last as she threw herself into his arms. This took him by surprise, this sudden affection. He looked at her dearly as she wrapped her own arms around his waist and buried her face against his chest. She began to cry now, like the child she wanted to keep hidden. �Oh Kaoru!� he said passionately, as he swept his arms around her and nuzzled the top of her head with his cheek. He closed his eyes in anguish as the tears began to fall. His heart beat more fondly now that he had her in his arms. �I�m so sorry Kenshin!� cried Kaoru, as her own tears just kept falling and staining Kenshin�s yukata, �I feel so selfish!� Selfish?
