BIOGRAPHY
Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Fuller Olsen, were born on June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, part of San Fernando Valley in California. Their parents Jarnette and David Olsen also had a boy named Trent before and a girl named Lizzie later. The twins lived in Sherman Oaks all of there life, but currently moved to a gated community in the south of San Fernando Valley. Most people think they are identical twins, they are actually faternal twins. Ashley, is the older one by two minutes then Mary-Kate. Their parents divorced in March of 1996 and the dad married MacKenzie Taylor. The role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC/TV hit comedy series "Full House" since they were nine-months old, Mary-Kate and Ashley have literally grown up before the public's eye. At six-months, their mom, and her very encouraging friends, took them to an audition for "Full House". There was no competition for the twins. They came in with big blue eyes and did not cry. On their very first audition, their careers took off. Over the seasons Full House was on air all the time and, Michelle had been growing up on the show, just as the Olsen Twins had been growing up off-screen. They had become so popular that a talking Michelle Doll was made in 1991. When "Full House" aired its final episode and said goodbye to the audiences in 1994, many people thought their careers had ended, but instead it gave the twins more time and opportunity to work on bigger projects such as movies, music albums, and two hot-selling home video series, "The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley" and "You're invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley's". They also have several book series which releases a new book every other month, another success area. They have formed their own production company, Dualstar, making them the youngest producers in Hollywood. They will also be having their own Barbie figurine dolls shaped after them in the spring of 2000. Even with their busy schedule, they still must do schoolwork. They have a tutor to help them with school work at least three hours a day. while they are working. When they were not working they attend a small private school near their home. Though they are always seen together during press conferences and movies, they go their different ways during their spare time. Mary-Kate is a horseback rider, while Ashley is into dance. The twins are now 15, and have many things ahead of them. This summer they filmed a movie called Holiday In the sun, in the Bahamas. Before the summer started they filmed a new TV series called So Little Time. In January, it will also be a new book series along with Two of a Kind and Full House still. In October, they have an animated cartoon about them. We will have lots more to see from the olsen twins!
