SCIENCE WORLD FIELD TRIP NOTICE
Dear Parent or Guardian:
The Seaquam
Science department is planning on having some of their Grade 9 classes attend a
day at Science World in
On the day of the field trip,
students are to arrive at school according to the regular Seaquam
time schedule. The students are to meet in front of the school at 8:45 am to
board the buses. The buses will return
to the school at ~ 2:35 pm.
If your son/daughter will be
participating in the Science World Field Trip, he/she must complete the
permission form on the back of this sheet.
This form should be returned with either a cheque
or cash for either $15 or $18.75, depending on whether your son/daughter would
like to buy their lunch at White Spot located within Science World. Lunch will include a burger, fries and a
drink. Thus, the cost of the field trip
is $15 (without White Spot lunch) or
$18.75 (with White Spot lunch included).
All
school rules apply on this field trip. We
expect all students to behave in a mature and responsible manner. If any problems arise, please be aware that
you will be contacted and asked to come and pick up your son/daughter. As well further actions will be taken upon
their return to the school.
We expect all students to attend this field trip. Those who stay behind will be expected to report to classes as usual and will complete an alternate assignment. Lastly, we do require parental supervision on this field trip. Therefore, if you have some time on either of these two days to supervise, please indicate this on this sheet and/or contact the school at 591-6166. Your admission will be paid for by the school.
