Consequences of Untold Love
Consequences of Untold Love
There once was a shy young girl
Who never quite fit in
Always teased and taunted
And yet she never sinned
Finally she couldn't stand the hurt
Pounding on her mind
She decided it was time
to leave the world behind
She prayed "Please forgive me father,
For soon, I will sin,
I never meant for this,
But it just has to end."
She made two red slices
So thick, dark, and deep
Now she's gone forever
Into an everlasting sleep
He laid a final kiss on her cheek
As the room of people cry
He shed a tear of sadness
And walked away with no goodbye
Although she didn't know it
He had loved her so
If only he would have told her
If only she would have known
"It's all my fault,
He thought to himself
I could have saved her life.
Now she's gone forever.
Never to be my wife."
He ran through the forest
Rope tightly in his hand
He tied it around his neck real tight
Just like a rubberband
With the other end tied to the top of the tree
Tears streamed down his face
"I'm coming for you baby"
He cried as he leaped to his fate
