Sex and the City  by Candace Bushnell

Candace Bushnell elaborated the term 'Sex and the City' in Manhattan in details: drop dead gorgeous ladies, rich and successful men, stunning beauties, models, power, sophistication, etc.  For those survivors in Manahattan, she should be beautiful or young or bitchy or talented, and he should be successful or affluent or artistic or handsome, youth doesn't counted.  There are tons of eligible bachelors available, but none of them wants to settle down to get married, just because they do not need to.

Several fascinating chapters inspired me a lot, like stories of Modelizing (the ultimated stage of womanizing), Bicycle boy (Some men believed they are Peter Pan and go everywhere with their bike, they try to turn their girls into bicycle girls), Psycho Moms (how crazy New York moms obsess to their children), Sex party (you would wonder whether you are watching National Geograhic) etc.  You could not stop laughing when reading them.

You could also meet Carrie, a charming young writer, Mr. Big, a business tycoon and Samatha Jones, the 'testosterone woman' in this little book.  They will give you a hint of how people's 'mating habit' (naming by Carrie) in this big city.
