Boy meets Girl  by Meg Cobat

It is an usual Meg's hilarious love story.  The whole story narrates through emails, instant messages, voice mail and notes via different person.  It is a creative writing style and shows how people highly attach with all these communication tools.

The story describe how Kate Machenzie, a blonde who works in personnel department in New York Journal and Mitch Hertzog, an eligible bachelor,a  corporate lawyer fell in love in the first sight, but should have a long stuggle before they could be together.  When Mitch meets Kate, he realized that not all personnel persons are boring.

Kate's career life is interesting.  She studied social worker in college because she hoped to help people, but turn out when she came to New York, there is no such job with the title of social worker, nobody wants to get her help.  That is why she joined personnel department as she believed that personnel people helped colleague in company...

The story started when Ida Lopez, a dessert maker in the New York journal was fired because she refused to serve a slice of pie the senior officer Stuart Hertzog (Mitch elder brother) because of his rude attitude.  Kate was the representative to send Ida the letter, She loved Ida a lot (and Ida loved her back and gave her some dessert recipes) and cried during the meeting with Ida, and Amy, Kate's senior was skepital to her professionalism.  Then ida hired Mitch to sue the personnel department, that was why Kate and Mitch met - Boy meets girl.

In this book, you could find recipes of several yummy homemade desserts from Mrs. Lopez, including chocolate fudge, ginger bread, carrot cake, double chocolate cookies, etc.

Meg's another novel
