A very long time has passed since the last web-site update. Personal affairs have kept me very busy over the last year or so. On the positive side, I have been able to scan a lot more of my personal collection that I will eventually make available online.
After being threatened with legal action over the availability of articles published by 'Linn's Stamp News' on the web-site I have decided to withdraw the offending PDF files from 'articles' section. While I fully respect the copyrights of the respective authors/publishing houses, I feel that no wrong was done since appropriate references were made available and that many lovers of Indian Philately (especially from India) will be denied a valuable reference source. I will continue to reference articles on this web-site, but will sadly not be able to provide PDF files.
Images of stamps from 1987 have been added to the Image Gallery.

Images of stamps from 1978-79 have been added to the Image Gallery.
The pages of the image gallery from 1948-1950 have been re-designed to make them consistent with the rest of the web-site. The rest of the pages in the gallery will be re-designed as and when I have spare time.
The web-site at Yahoo! Geocities has been made Ad-free. Visitors will no longer have the annoying ad-banner on the site.
I have recently come across a few articles that appeared in Linn's stamp News (published from the US). In due course they will be scanned and made available on the site.

Images of stamps from 1970 have been added to the Image Gallery. The web-site now has over 250 high quality images for your viewing pleasure. More efforts will be made in the near future to add as many images as possible and to create a virtual collection of all stamps released after independence.
Help is needed from volunteers to add to the web-site. If you think that you can make a quality contribution please contact me

Venkat Rao, Madhup Tewari, Venkatsha, Soren Hauge, Sanjay Sharma, Amal Chowdhury, Major Balasubramanian and Mayuri have been added to the 'Lovers of Indian Philately' list.
