| So the other day, Im sitting at the bar at hooters having a tasty glass of Guiness, and trying to will the bartenders tits to bounce out of her top. Two stools away, there is two guys standing by the bar also having a few beers. Knowing that my attempts to use the force were futile I started ease dropping into what these two buffoons were talking about. He was rambling on about how important a college degree is these days and without one people are nothing. Now to see the big picture, I need to really describe what this guy looked liked, or more so what he is wearing. He was wearing a flashy pair of basketball high tops, you know the kind that you see people wear up until about high school till they reach the age of reason. Then he had on a pair of calf high striped UT brown socks. He was wearing some UT brown tight shorts with a Egly T-shirt and a UT Brown colored cap with of course the UT emblem. Nice, I see you went to UT to become a coach!
While he was fellating him self on his accomplishments, I started looking around at the other patriarchs in the restaurant. Two boarder patrol agents were walking in, I saw some construction workers sitting at a booth, and at a far table there was a guy whos pants were covered in paint. Prompting my suspicion that he was probably a painter by trade. Now what did these guys all have in common, they were a group of guys who probably had no college degree but were making more money then our college graduate coach. This got me thinking about another group of people, you know the ones who made a big fuss about how good their grades were in high school. They all competed to get into a mediocre college, six years, and 162,000 dollars later they are all competing to get a mediocre job. They drive their mediocre cars, to their mediocre homes, and live a mediocre American dream. Congratufuckinglations, Your GENERIC I dont know what makes these people think they are better then the type of people who decided to work instead of go to school. You get the average while collar, black tie wearing college boy, and they are like all the rest. You can pluck them off a shelve and they all know the same shit, generic Theory. You ask them to apply that theory and you get mixed results, some know what they are doing and other dont. You get the average guy who has been working his whole life and the majority knows what theyre doing without having to have spent all that money going to school. Im not saying college is a waste of time especially for people who want to become I dont know lets say doctors. But if your going to school to get a business degree, how much can you really learn. Not much, just theory. You dont learn the important stuff like getting through the red tape to start a business. Dealing with the different government dickheads to get passed the whole taxing thing. College teaches youre the generic side of it all and never teaches you to apply it, so that when you go out into the real world your like every other Generic dinkfart out there. |
