| Updates: 1/2/02 The travel agent faxed us our travel itinerary. We're leaving on the 15th of this month & arriving back home on the 30th! At this point, they're 90% certain on these dates. We should know for sure after the facilitator gets back to Vietnam on the 9th. 12/20/01 We received 2 new pictures of Savannah! We were also told that travel will possibly be around January 15!! 11/16/01 We were told to get our visas!! 11/01/01 We received our referral of a baby girl born on October 18 in Vietnam!!!!! We're naming her Savannah Joyce Thuy. 10/16/01 We turned down the referral of the baby from Kaz. We're kind of sad, but it's the best option for us now. 10/12/01 We're waiting to hear back from the intl. adoption clinic on the medical info. for the baby from Kaz. We're still in the Vietnam program also until we decide for sure what direction to take. With the VN program, we're now #3 on the list for a girl! 10/03/01 Received news of no referrals from Vietnam through our agency for at least 30 days - we've been discussing our options & are now waiting for medical info. on an infant girl from Kazakhstan 9/21/01 Sent updated paperwork to our agency 8/14/01 We are now 4th on the list for a girl! 3/27/01 Our translated dossier was sent back to our agency, & they in turn sent it to VIETNAM! 3/8/01 Our dossier was sent to the Vietnamese consulate in San Francisco 3/5/01 We sent our dossier to our agency European Adoption Consultants 2/8/01 We received INS approval |
