In math this week, grade 3 students will continue from Saxon, concentrating on division, order of operations, and addition of positive and negative integers. Grade 8 students will continue with the unit on solving quadratic equations.
In computer science, students in grades 2 and 5 will continue with our web design unit... projects are due to be uploaded to my computer class website (see link at right or below) on Tuesday, June 8. Grade 8 students will continue with Excel. 3rd graders, having met three times a week all term, have met the CIS objectives this semester. We'll continue to meet on Fridays for keyboarding, but our extra time on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be spent on math.
