- To Natasha and Carley (my other two-term TA's), I'm honored that you chose my classroom as a place to relax and to help out when asked, even in the smallest of ways. To my other TA's, your time, too, was greatly appreciated.
- To the Pantheon, no other class I've ever had has been more fun to teach. (For administrators anywhere, this is what happens when a class has only seventeen students.) To my first period Algebra II class from first semester 2000-01, no other class has shown more collective talent. (14 A's and 7 B's out of 28 students... simply amazing.) To Mike and goddesses Hannah, Andrea, Ashley, and Beth (from first period Algebra II, second semester 2001-02), you helped me to see that the harder I press a class, the more I get out of all of them. To my third period Algebra II class, first semester 2003-03, you were my last class that I felt free enough with whom to share myself, and the one who was there for me personally when I needed you most. Thank you, one and all, for letting me touch your lives as you did mine.
- To my homeroom, I watched you grow over two-and-a-half years from too-big-for-your-britches freshmen to fine young people. Congratulations to Ryan and Amy who knew that high school is, for the most part (admit it), bullshit and graduated a year early. The rest of you are getting out this year. You know I have high expectations of each of you... don't let me down.
- To the after school gang (Chad, Heather, Andrea, Henry, Candi, and way too many more to list)... to the boys' cross-country team-turned-football-tailgaters... to the show choir... to students attending Algebra parties... I can't thank you enough for your gifts, both physical and intangible. Each group showed chemistry the likes of which any teacher would and does dream.
