Mount Gimli

These two photos are views of Mount Gimli
as we ascended the mountain. These photos were
taken shortly after we left the tree line behind us.

This photo of me in front of Mount Gimli was taken during our lunch break. This view is from the left of Gimli, as seen in the previous two photos.

This photo is of Mount Gimli from Mulvi basin. The back of Mount Gimli. When we were in the basin, a large black cloud appeared above Mount Gimli. We were wondering if we were going to be rained or snowed on before we managed to climb out of the basin. We were lucky though because the clouds seemed to stay on the far side of Mount Gimli, and although it did get cold, we stayed dry.

This is the view of Mount Gimli at the end of our day. We were crossing the last field back to the base of Mount Gimli and then we descended down to the vehicle.
