J I will read aloud to the
class again, The Gingerbread Man J I will then post
sentence strips in the class that are familiar from the story J Students will take turns
pointing to the words that they recognize to the class |

Wednesday |
J I will read aloud to the
class again, The Gingerbread Man J Students will each
choose their favorite word from the story and write it on a strip of paper
using a black marker J We will work on letter
association with each word the children choose and draw close attention to
the sound the beginning letter makes. J With all the words the
children have chosen we will make a wall chart. |

Thursday |
J We will go to the
computer lab and visit the interactive Picture Match
website and work on letter sound activities J Students will print
their picture matches once they are finished |
