Caroline Peters has been a mystery for so long!
She disappeared in Jackson, NE about 1887-1889.
There isn't any record of her giving birth to her youngest or even her death. Where is she buried??
Only her children's presence say she was here! The youngest was born in 1887 in NE. Her children were adopted by three different families in December 1889 and church records say their mother's name was "UNKNOWN".
My Grandmother Anna, Caroline Peters' oldest daughter, always said her mother's name was Caroline Peters and she was from Sweden. Marriage records in Denmark say her name was Caroline\Eline Petersdatter.
