| Dr Michael Kania is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York in Binghamton. He attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following the completion of his dental training, which included a one year post-doctoral residency in Advanced General Dentistry, Dr Kania joined the Dental School faculty in the Department of Prosthedontics. In 1989, he left UNC to pursue a degree in Orthodontics at the University of Florida at Gainesville. Upon completion of his orthodontic residency, Dr Kania returned to North Carolina to begin his practice. He and his wife Stephanie moved to Asheboro in 1991. Since that time, they have beem blessed with two beautiful children. Cameron was born in 1993 and his younger brother Chandler arrived 18 months later. Dr Kania enjoys playing ice hockey and visisting his friend Mickey Mouse in Orlando whenever he gets the chance! |
