Ollie

We bought "Ollie" on the 9th Feb 2002. He's a 1979 Type 2 camper (we're not too sure of the conversion yet!) He got his name from his numberplate BEG 912T. Just like Oliver Twist, myself and Leanne sure had to do some begging to raise the bargain sum of �900 for him.(Thanks Vic) He came equipped with complete 12V hook up, 2 hob cooker, sink, running water and a fully working 12V TV. He is completely rot-free and all ready for his yearly medical at the MOT clinic. At the moment he sleeps 2 in his "rock n' roll" bed, but we are currently thinking of ways to convert the single seat in the rear into a comfortable bed for our daughter Georgia.

We are currently aiming at getting Ollie on the road by April/May. We have big plans to visit as many VW shows as possible (we're going to Vanfest even if we have to get towed there!) His dashboard has been sprayed purple and yellow and Joy has just made his yellow curtains!! His carpets are up revealing hardly any rust (certainly nothing to worry about) He's now eagerly awaiting his laminate flooring!!!
