Was MJ mistreated in custody?
Was Michael Jackson Mistreated In Custody? Michael Jackson's brother said the pop star was mistreated while in custody of the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department. Department officials deny the claim. Jermaine Jackson told MSNBC in an interview broadcast Thursday that his brother "has proof" that "he was very much mistreated." He declined to specify how his brother was allegedly mistreated, saying only: "The pictures will show you everything." Chris Pappas, spokesman for the Sheriff's Department, denied the claim and said no complaints have been filed. "Mr. Jackson was treated with courtesy and professionalism throughout the process. At no time was he mishandled or subjected to any form of mistreatment," Pappas said in a statement released Thursday.
