BAD TOUR
September 12, 1987 - January 24, 1989.


The Bad Tour was Michael Jackson's first solo tour. The tour began with 14 sell out concerts at the Korakuen Stadium, Yokohama, on September 12, 1987.  The 123rd and final show took place in Los Angeles at the Sports Arena on January 24, 1989.
Bad World Tour figures total 123 concerts to 4.4 million people. The 16 month tour grossed over $125 million, more than any other entertainer had on a single tour. During the tour Michael invited underprivileged children to watch him perform, and contributed to hospitals, orphanages, and other charities.

DANGEROUS TOUR
June 27, 1992 - November 11, 1993

The Dangerous Tour began in the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany on June 27, 1992.  Michael was unable to complete the Dangerous tour due to illness.
During the Dangerous tour Michael performed for approximately 3.5 million people in 67 concerts. Michael donated the proceeds from his tour to charities, including the Heal The World Foundation.

HIStory TOUR
September 7, 1996 - October 15, 1997.


The first leg of the HIStory Tour began in Prague, Czech Republic at Letna Park on September 7, 1996, and ended in Honolulu, Hawaii at Aloha Stadium on January 4, 1997. Over the 17 weeks, Michael performed 42 concerts in 26 cities, 20 counties, and 5 continents, to 2,200,000 fans.
During the HIStory tour, Michael performed 82 concerts in 58 cities to over 4.5 million fans.The HIStory Tour visited 5 continents and 35 countries.
Michael, together with other artists from around the globe performed two charity benifit concerts in June of 1999. Together these concerts raised millions of dollars for three charities; The Red Cross, UNESCO, and The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

KOREAN CONCERT
June 25, 1999 - Seoul, Korea


The Korean concert was played at the Chamsil Olympic Stadium, Seoul, Korea to an audience of 54,000 people.
Iin front of a full sold - out stadium Michael performed  his greatest hits medle.  This medley included the songs; "Dangerous", "Earth Song" and "You Are Not Alone".
Michael said a few words at the closing of his "Earth Song" performance, asking for a reunification of Korea and promising to be there when it should happen. The concert ended after Michael's performance with fireworks and a rain of petals on the audience.
In addition to Michael, there were approximately 30 other performances that took place during the 9 hour concert.

MUNICH 1999
June 27, 1999 - Munich, Germany

The concert in Munich was played at the Olympic Stadium and was modeled after the previous concert in Seoul, with many of the same performers.
Michael's set included a stage dubbed the "bridge of no return" which was a symbol for refugee children. During "Earth Song" children led eachother across the bridge symbolizing the plight of refugees. At the end of the song the bridge was supposed to collapse and a tank would take to the stage as it did in the HIStory tour production of "Earth Song". Unfortunately, during the concert an accident occured with the prop and Michael was slightly injured.

30TH ANNIVERSARY
On September 7th & September 10th, 2001

Michael performed two special concerts to celebrate his 30 years as a solo artist. The concerts, called "Michael Jackson: An All Star Salute", were held at New York's Madison Square Garden. Many of today's largest stars were included in the lineup, all saluting the achievements of Michael's career.
