2002 WTA Tennis Championships – Thursday, November 7, 2002 – 7:00 p.m. - the Staples Center is hosting a special Girl Scout night during the WTA Tennis Championships.  Ticket prices are $20.00 each and include two Women’s Singles Matches, special Girl Scout Activity, guest speaker, and a WTA official Girl Scout Patch.  Interested troops please contact Alene Isaac at the Staples Center.

Veterans Day Flag Ceremony – Monday, November 11, 2002 - the Rancho Simi Park district is looking for Girl Scouts interested in doing a Flag Ceremony on Veterans Day, at Tapo Park.  Interested troops please contact the Rancho Simi Park District, Rick Johnson, for more information.

Family Reading Night at Simi Valley Library – Thursday, November 21, 2002 – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – the Simi Valley Library is hosting a Family Reading Night.  They are looking for older Girl Scouts (6^th grade & up) interested in doing face painting.  Interested troops please contact Stephanie Langlois, Troop 758, for further information.
