Ahh....here's my new 2001 GSXR 750, way back when. Before the race bodywork.
Hmm...how things change.
Here I am on the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point Raceway. Still looking basically stock, having fun and getting faster.
At VIR on the South Course. TPM Control Rider
David Gallo working with me on some lines.
Here's a shot of my bike with fresh race bodywork. We didn't even have time to get a coat of paint on it.
We called this the "Great White" paint job, because it reminded me of a shark.
next came the
"The Flag Bike"

Like the commercial says:
New race bodywork $400
Paint, decals, etc. $200
Getting one really good picture of the new paint job before a big-time crash..Priceless!!

Here's my bike in transition again. After the Flag paint job bit the dust, I had only two weeks to make some serious repairs, shoot some primer on it and head back to the track!
We thought this design turned out well. I made some basic concept drawings and Wayne cut and applied the new graphics. Unfortunately, I'm now in the process of repainting it, thanks to a turn one incident at VIR south on Memorial Day weekend. Oh well, here we go again.
Stay tuned.
