"I Met Him In A Poem" 
 

I met him in a poem one night 
Knew right from the start 
Our Father had sent someone 
Who would surely stir my heart. 

His words reflect his witness 
Words so sweet and true 
Some make me smile and happy 
Just turn my skies to blue. 

Yet I can shed a tear sometimes 
At thoughts his words impart 
He understands the sufferings 
Writes scriptures from his heart. 

He gives me hope and courage
With the words he does give 
He often brings remembrance 
Of the life I've yet to live.
