BRIBERY REVIEWS, HOME RECORDINGS, AND OTHER ASSORTED FUN STUFF

FEATURED REVIEW PAGES:

This section of the site is probably a long time coming.  Basically, if any of the readers of this site (or anywhere else in the web-reviewing community) out there have their own home or studio recorded music they want to share (especially if it's not released by any sort of record label), preferably in the form of full-length albums or EPs on CD, cassette, or MP3s, you can contact me (or any of the other MJA reviewers for that matter) to send your stuff in whatever format you want, and I'll do my own reviews for it!

In any case, for whatever is reviewed by me at least, the same 0-10 scale I normally use to rate albums in the main review portion of the site will be in place, though bear in mind an 8 in this section, to use an example, might not always be the same actual quality as a normal site 8.  It may be more based on how effectively the albums entertain me or present their own neat ideas than actual professional intricacies in the sound or crap like 'originality'.

I guess I'll also include reviews of home recorded albums I already have in my posession first, particularly the Casey Brennan discography (his work with Evil Wind from 1994-97 and his two solo albums) and maybe commentary on my own Physical Illusion releases.  Included here already is Robert Grazer's review of his own 'solo album' and the review of the web reviewing community (WRC) compilation that's by now famous among posters on George Starostin's Music Babble message board.
