| 1966 Ford Fairlane 427 The Cobra high-performance engines- 70 427's were built in 1966, 200 in 1967, the last year for the 427 power house. Top speed was at least 125 mph. It delivered 425 hp. The hood came completely off after the four tie-down pins are removed. |

| Corvette Stingray 1968 to 1983 1963 came with the split rear window, later models carried 327 to 454 cu. in. engines in some model years, turning out as much as 390 hp with the aid of a four barrel carburetors and their headlight flipped up from the curvaceous hoods.
