Mikes Bio Page

Born in Seattle, lived in Shoreline I remember that steep street we had near-by and the neighbors all around us I knew most of their names.  I was almost seven years old and we moved to Wenatchee Washington. Lived there for a short while, -the first house we rented had a pool, that house was 500 Greenwalt street. Wenatchee was one of those small towns where the house you move into was always referred to as the previous occupants last names, -in our case it was the Kings house, the second we lived in on the corner of Castlerock and Pearl street, just 3 blocks from the first house off Castlerock, just a short walk from my grade school,
St. Josephs.

In Wenatchee my dad owned and operated the A to Z rental business.
which was great because anything we want to use that he rented was fine.
So of the most memorable was the excerise equipment, tandem bicycles, and icecream maker. But it wasn't long before my dad was headed back into the trucking industry.

Soon there-after my dads career led us to move again, this time it was off to Lubbock Texas
where none of us was prepared for an environment of hot, humid
and littered with spiders and bugs that we had not seen the likes of to date. Although Texas was undesirable, it was still very memorable and interesting. We visited
Six flags and Palo Duro Canyons while we lived there and I have lots of fond memories from there.

Soon my dads job had us scampering off to Arvada Colorado -
(a subburb of Denver) we spent a year there before returning to the Northwest  in December  of 1972.

I grew up from 1973 - 1983 in Edmonds Washington before my folks moved briefly to  Brier Washington, in 1985 my folks moved to Wenatchee Washington for a year before returning to Edmonds.

In January of 1986 I finally ventured out on my own sharing an apartment with a friend of mine, Bill.

Working in Silverlake and living just 15 minutes away  in Everett Washington I was having the time of my life.
For the next 3 years I partied and enjoyed my bachelor status and dated many girls looking for that "one" that I would like to settle down with.

In September 1989 I met the girl that would eventually become my wife and best friend.  Christine was, and of course still is,  the love of my life.

Today we live in Mountlake Terrace Washington and have two wonderful children.
