| Porsche 911 GT3 | ||||||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Well I couldn't hide my current project any longer. It's a Porsche 911 GT3.I started this project back in the autumn as a break from my other projects, and I have added a bit to it every now and again, but I haven't worked on it for quite a while due to my very limited free time. Currently it has 5102 polygons in the condition shown in the picture. To see the blueprints I used click here. I created the car using ZModeler, although I have started experimenting with a couple of other 3D programs lately, Namely Blender and gmax. For more pictures please visit the gallery.

| Stunt ramp |
|---|
My first MM2 car release, finally.The ramp's unique shape means that it can cut through traffic with ease, and in multiplayer games you can use it to get a team mate into the air, or a competitor off the road. Unfortunately it's a bit slow though, so think carefully of when you'll get an advantage. You'll also have to watch those curbs, as the low front ground clearance means that you'll hit them. For more pictures please visit the gallery. Please go to the Downloads page to download the Stunt ramp.

| Volvo 360 GLS | ||||||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
My latest project is a Volvo 360 GLS, which is going to be much more detailed than my previous two cars which have been made of 1626, and 1335 polygons (body, wheels and breakables like bumpers). This car already has 754 polygons, and as you can see is nowhere near finished. Please note that the colours in the picture are not the final colour scheme, I've just used six basic colours so that you can see the shape of the car easier.The car is based on a car owned by one of my relatives, and I've used blueprints from www.suurland.com. Unfortunately the blueprints are for a slightly newer version that differs slightly, so I've had to refer to the original a lot. Unfortunately I've been really busy lately, and have been unable to do much to this car for quite a long time. Hopefully I'll soon have some time to do some more to it though, as I want to finish it. | Mercedes-Benz CL600 | ||||||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
The CL600 is the second scratch made car I have constructed in ZModeler and is made from 1626 polygons. It has seven colours, all official Mercedes colours that you can get real Mercs in.The car includes detachable mirrors and front and rear bumpers. As this car isn't very detailed I'm not going to release it, at the moment anyway, I may fix a couple of the worst problems and then try releasing in the future. I was quite pleased with it, but after looking at some other cars that are much more detailed I know that my next car will have a much higher poly count. There are a couple of really bad areas on the car that need major work, and the textures are really low quality which doesn't help.

| Ford Focus WRC | ||||||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
This Ford Focus was my first successfully modelled car, and I'm very pleased with the way in which it has turned out. The vehicle is based on the Focus rally car (I'm not sure which year it's from, but it's number 7). Here's a picture of the real thing.![]() The above picture is Copyright © Thomas Suurland. To see the whole picture full size visit www.Suurland.com.
NEW: You may have noticed that it looks slightly different to before, as I've had a go at improving it a bit. It looks a bit smoother now, and I have tried to get it into MM2 but have had some problems with the dashboard. Expect a beta release in the next month. For more pictures please visit the gallery.
